Wellness Programs



For many employers, health care costs annually increase 8-10 percent on average and already equal or exceed net profits. In order to remain profitable and competitive, companies must create long-term solutions to rising health care costs.

To assist employers, Infinisource has partnered with Elite Wellness, a leading national provider of complete, customized wellness programs that help organizations prevent high-cost conditions and promote long-term healthy lifestyles.

The Essentials Program provides an entry-level health management solution. The program features basic lifestyle and behavioral employee support including online Member Health Assessments, risk results and recommendations, educational web tools, one-on-one inbound telephonic health coaching, unlimited e-mail health coaching and a monthly e-newsletter.

The Plus Program provides a more comprehensive solution for employers by including biometric screenings, additional employee engagement activities and program branding geared for the special needs and concerns of their own workforce. More importantly, an employer can track health status changes, program participation and overall business impact with the Elite Health Management System (EliteHMS).

Biometric Screenings are also available as an add-on service to the Essentials Program. Screenings provide a second level of health risk assessment with a series of tests that measure basic health indicators such as blood pressure, cholesterol, cardiac risk ratio and body composition.

Three Targeted Program options are available to augment both the Essentials and Plus Programs:

  • Smoking Cessation. 10-week webinar or on-site workshop course designed to assist employees in becoming tobacco free (20 participants maximum).
  • Weight Management. 10-week webinar or on-site workshop course designed to educate, support and motivate employees through the weight loss process (20 participants maximum).
  • On-Site Wellness Days are designed as an interactive means of introducing health coaching and educating employees on a broad range of health and wellness related topics. They are an excellent way to energize your workforce and increase awareness.

The Plan Change Option is available through Infinisource's Chief Compliance Officer. An increasing number of employers are seeking to encourage healthy behaviors through innovative group health plan designs, utilizing features like premium discounts or surcharges. HIPAA nondiscrimination rules make this approach one that requires careful consideration and scrutiny. This Option will consist of:

  • Materials describing the pros and cons of various design features
  • Analysis of design features, via a Plan Design Worksheet
  • A consultation call with the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Revision of your current Plan Documents and Summary Plan Description to implement the design changes
