Educational series reviews the ABCs of benefit administration
Learning your ABCs in elementary school seems like a walk in
the park compared to the ABCs required with benefit compliance. The ABCs have changed for COBRA, FSA
(Flexible Spending Accounts), HSA (Health Spending Accounts), HRA
(Health Reimbursement Arrangements) and HIPAA (Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act).
Learn more about these ABCs with an education series presented by the
National Association of Professional Benefits Administrators (NAPBA).
The
conference will showcase top administrators including Infinisource Vice
President of Operations, Jessika Cole, who will review the ABC's of COBRA
Basics. Cole will also participate in a
panel discussion on new COBRA and USERRA Regulations, HIPAA updates and what an
administrator needs to do to comply with all the requirements.
Cole is one of the most respected COBRA experts in the
country, especially when it comes to the logistics of managing COBRA on a mass
scale for 12,000 U.S. employers, carriers, HMOs and TPAs. She plays a crucial role in adapting
Infinisource Operations and Payment Center to satisfy client needs in an
ever-changing legal and business environment.
Her role at Infinisource has included the creation, testing
and implementation of COBRA Enterprise - the state-of-the-art proprietary
software program that will take Infinisource and its clients into the future
more efficiently. She supervises the integration of various departments with
the organization such as Account Coordinators, Customer Response, Operations,
Payment Center and Fringe Benefits.
Other conference topics will include:
- Flex Plan Basics
