Certification in Flexible Compensation awarded to Infinisource employees following a rigorous examination
The Employer's Council on Flexible Compensation awarded
Infinisource employees Connie Gilchrest and Melanie McNall the designation of
Certified in Flexible Compensation by the Foundation for Future Leadership.
Gilchrest and McNall are only one of 14 individuals to receive this
certification, which is the highest professional certification available for
practitioners in flexible compensation.
To achieve the CFC designation, Gilchrest and McNall
underwent a rigorous examination covering plan design and administration, the
law, regulations, and ethical standards. The examination covered flexible
benefit programs, including flexible spending accounts, child and elder care
reimbursement accounts, 401(k) and other defined contribution plans, and other
innovative forms of compensation and benefits.
This designation is intended for professionals with at least
three years of work experience in flex benefits, a minimum of 25 hours of
qualified flex instruction, and attendance at registered flex conferences
within a three-year period. Less than 300, of approximately 13,000
practitioners nationwide, have now earned the Certified in Flexible
Compensation (CFC) designation.
